2026 Theme: Divide By Zero
The theme ‘Divide by Zero’ draws on the heavily debated mathematical confusion of zero and what happens when you divide by zero.
Many mathematicians will tell you the answer is infinity (because the closer you get to zero when dividing, the larger the number gets), others will tell you that if you divide by zero you get zero and others still will claim that it breaks maths logic all together.
You can also interpret the theme as an exploration of Zero, it’s history, it’s shape or an artistic expression of an absence of a number.
So you decide, is it infinity, nothing, chaos, the void or something altogether different.
What’s your interpretation?
