19 SYDNEY STREET, MARRICKVILLE NSWsydneystreet.gallery offers a ground floor space suitable for exhibitions, events, launches and workshops. The space is available on a weekly, weekend, or by the day basis.
The gallery space presents a modern interior, while retaining reminders of it's industrial past with raw timber ceiling joists, white painted brick walls and exposed aggregate concrete floor. The public entry is enhanced with an easily accessed glass door and panels that can be folded away if required. Sydney Street is located 5 mins walk from the Metro and has become a vibrant hub for creatives - making this location ideal for exhibiting artists.
It is our policy to provide a professional and safe space for creatives to exhibit their work in return for a hire fee based on the period of time required.
We do not charge commission for works sold. All sales proceeds are kept by the exhibitor.
We do not handle sales transactions - this is up to the exhibitor and or the persons they elect to operate their exhibition.
We will promote your event on our web site, socials and mailing list, but we do not take responsibility for the commercial marketing of your exhibition or event. This will remain as the responsibility of the hirer.

disclose the nature of the work to be exhibited to gallery manager prior to finalising the booking and refrain from exhibiting material that deliberately incites hate, violence or discrimination of any kind.
Pay a deposit bond equal to 50% of the agreed hire fee to confirm the booking at the time of signing, which will be returned to the hirer at the conclusion of bump out - minus any remediation costs incurred for damage to gallery property or infrastructure.
Pay the full calculated hire fee 14 days prior to bump in.
The hirer must consider risks to their works on display and their exhibition. Whilst sydneystreet.gallery does have secure premises, we do not accept liability for the success of your exhibition or any loss or damage to the works during the hire period.
The exhibitor must nominate a sitter for the gallery each day the exhibition is open, unless otherwise negotiated.
All works must be removed from the gallery on the last day of the exhibition unless otherwise negotiated. No responsibilty will be taken for works left after the exhibition finishes.
The gallery must be swept / vacuumed and left in the same condition as prior to exhibition or event.
If the hirer cancels the booking more than 30 days before the event date then half of the deposit bond will be retained as a cancellation fee
If the hirer cancels the booking less than 30 days before the event date then the whole of the deposit bond will be retained as a cancellation fee
